How long is an ILETS Score valid?
An ILETS Test report Form (TRF) is valid for 2 years.
What are the test rules?
Test guidelines and rules are on the Notice to Candidates document provided in the Application Form. It is strongly advised to read the Information for Candidates booklet carefully to understand the test format and know what to expect.
If my ID expires before the IELTS test, can I still take it?
One may utilize their CNIC/passport if it is still valid and legitimately in your possession on the day of your IELTS Test (LRW and Speaking). If the validity of your CNIC/passport has expired, you will need to reschedule your IELTS Exam, since the CNIC/passport is the primary form of identification acceptable for IELTS.
What can be taken into the examination room?
Only pencils, erasers, and pens along with passport or national identity card that was used on the Application Form.
How much does it cost?

IELTS test fees vary from year to year. PathwaysPk Consultants will advise the test fee for your session in local currency.

What will happen if one does not appear in ILETS Test?
If a registered applicant fails to present for their IELTS exam, they are considered absent and are not eligible for a refund. If you are unable to present due to a medical/emergency issue, please notify us before to the test date with supporting documentation so that we may examine your claim for a transfer/refund. Tax deductions are available.
How do I book/register for the test?
PathwaysPk Consultants is the official facilitation centre for British Council to register candidates for IELTS.
How are the tests marked?

IELTS practices a 9-band scoring system in a consistent way it indicates individual band scores for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking and an Overall Band Scor

Postpone or cancel my IELTS test?

You can contact us for further instructions in case of test being postpone or cancel. If Candidate postpone or cancel within 5 weeks of the test date, they will be charged the full fee unless the candidate has a medical reason.

When will I receive my test results?
The Test Report is available on 13 calendar days after test date but can be available at HS Consultants.
All parts on the same day?
The test consists of 4 language skills in which Listening, Reading and Writing components of the test are always concluded immediately after each other with no break, Whereas the Speaking test takes up to 7 days either before or after the test date.
How soon can I re-appear for the test?
You can reappear at any upcoming dates.
When will I receive my ILETS results?

IELTS using pen and paper (PB IELTS): Results will be accessible online on the 13th day after the exam date.

Computer-delivered IELTS (CD IELTS): Within 3-5 days after the exam day, results will be accessible online.

Results will be accessible online on the 13th day after the exam date, according to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Results for CD UKVI and Life Skills will be accessible online on the 7th day after the exam date.

Allow at least 7 business days for delivery (in the event of a failed delivery, we will contact you for address correction/confirmation and resend the TRF within these 7 business days). Please make sure that you expect a comprehensive and legitimate local address to ensure timely delivery.
